listening to this album with random tracks on really sucks. all the tracks are tied together in some way, so when you hear it randomly it sounds all discombobulated.

discuss.

- The same goes for most of Pink Floyd's albums (especially Dark Side and The Wall). But I haven't listened to Abbey Road in a looooooooong time.

I don't listen to albums on random. And I, too, only have Abbey Road on vinyl, and no turntable at the moment.

i do it just to change things up a bit, but it sucks for this album in particular. it seems to work better for albums like seasons in the abyss.

I have it on vinyl and on CD. More importantly it's on my iPod. There's no option to listen to random songs w/ in one CD I dont think though :(

i think the best two voice pairings in rock are lennon/mccartney and staley/cantrell.

lennon/mcartney yes....

aic duet no....i do admire thier songs but i dont think esp. on the acoustic album (which i own ) the fit on top of each other...

there is something uneasy.....esp. live
