i haven't heard too much about this one. is it worth picking up or would it be wise to wait for forza?

the gran turismo games are always good. i'm gonna wait and get this one for the psp, though.

I love the GT games. Only bad thing IMO is they don't seem to take many chances. But i guess they made the game right the first time, just add better graphics, more cars, and more tracks and you have a new installment of the series. I do plan on buying this eventually.

i've only played the first and second one for the ps1. it was pretty good for its time.

a-spec is worth a buy, especially at $20. better have some time on your hands to play it, though

its a good game, I played a race or two and looked around in it. Its pretty much the same thing as GT3. Just with more cars and a lil more polish. Id wait for Forza. Its implementing the features I've been waiting for in a sim racer. The best part of GT4 is the wheel though. If you get GT4, get the wheel.

I hate that there is no damage to the cars when they crash into a wall at high speeds.

But it is a very pretty game.

i just got this yesterday... i totally love it.... 700 cars... what the hell am i gonna do with 700 cars!! its awesome, sooo addictive

ima get forza too, if only for online play

yeah, they are pretty annoying... espesh after a race, then replay, then winning yer money... big load times between em all...
no more so than most ps2 games tho

Longest load times are abour 15 seconds. Pretty damn good considering what's being loaded.

thats not too bad, morrowind takes abotu 20 secs on the xbox, max payne takes absolutely aaaaaaaaaaages. i think that s reasonable

it really isnt all that different which is what annoys me the most. The HP/TRQ increases are still %-based, the AI is still on rails, the damage is still not in the series, and from autoX racers, Laguna Seca (just as an example) still isnt correct. It does look good though and has 700 cars. I wonder how many cars are in it if you take away the duplicates?

i just hope Forza doesnt bomb. It sounds like the perfect racer and has all the elements I've been waiting for.

It's definitely got a learning curve, no doubt about that.

Just wait till you get into a Rally race on a snow track.
