Former Korn Guitarist's Solo Material Posted Online


According to a posting on the KORN fan site KornWeb.cjb.net, two solo recordings from former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch have been posted online. Download the track "Kry" at VBF.org and "Dream" at GarageBand.com.

Welch recently told MTV News that the songs he's been recording on his own reflect his growing spirituality. His solo material — which will be released under the name "HEAD" — will not be Christian music. Rather, he said, he wants it to be an "extension of the KORN family."

"I always loved that KORN's music helped kids let out aggression. But with my new music, I want kids to know that there's more out there," he told MTV. "I want to show them there's a light at the end of the pain tunnel. That there's more out there than just aggression. I want to say to them, 'Hey kids, come over here. Let's bounce back and forth and have fun.' "

this was good news because i was thinking maybe korn would just break up and not torture us with any more of their music as they have been doing for the past god knows how many years. too long if you ask me. and now he releases solo stuff, stuff that is pretty weak. clown shoes.
