Not Live mp, but Live in general. The Arcade has been buggy with random disconnects, and the loading of icons, etc. has been slower than usual.

yeah, publishers don't have shit to do with the developing stages, but....remember that EA has dedicated servers for all their games. They're the only ones with this ability and they do an awful job with it.

It's EA's game and thus their responsibility to obtain the servers running smoothly.



I could be mistaken, but I thought this was a clause in EA's partnership with Xbox Live back in '05. That if they were to join, they'd get to manage their game servers. MS didn't want that cause they wanted a unified community....EA insisted both things could be done. Long story short....EA got their way and the Live community got EA games on Live with shitty servers... :nanner13:

I see what you're saying. You could interpret that as saying it's Valve's duty to uphold server consistency, when it's EA's. But...it could also mean that Valve is the same position as the gamer in that both Valve and gamers have to stand back and hope EA's going to do the game and gamers right.
