and sometimes they make food that is downright scary... but it's always interesting...
Like when they take something like say abalone or froi grois and try to make dessert :confused3

The Iron Chef AAmerica though... makes my mouth water... Mario Batalli makes some of the best looking food I have ever seen, aside from Jaques Pepin... who is my personal chef god, I would eat anything that man cooks, it always looks good...

And I am still bummed that Juliya Child is dead...

Yea yea, I really love good food... I'm a chef junkie...

Oh but have you heard these people? And their deep contemplation of the harmony between dishes playing like melodies and other various assundries of crap?
I may be scared to eat some of this stuff too... I am scared of all the raw stuff  It might walk away as your poking it with a fork... :confused3

normally i wouldn't watch iron chef cause while i like the idea of chef's competing in this fashion, i just hate the way it's executed on this show. everything is overly-dramatic, alton brown is grating on the nerves, and that moron who does the karate shit is even worse. :sarcasm:

but i chose to watch tonight because it was giada vs. that giggling retard, rachael ray. first off, they wound up pairing them up with iron chefs because it would be a mismatch, and then ray rides batali's coat tails to a win. what a bunch of fixed horseshit.

ok, i'm gonna off myself now for watching this show and posting about it. kthxbye

The best thing about Iron Chef (aside from teh Chairman's cheesy pageantry) is definitely the voiceovers.

Chairman Kaga is like the Liberace of japanese cuisine.
