I just saw Constantine. I haven't read The Sandman, or other comics involving the main character, but I thought the movie was really, really, good. There was a point about .75 way through it where it started to drag just the slightest, but definitely worth seeing.

I just got home from watching this. I must say I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. No where near my top movies but certainly worth the $7 I payed to watch it.

I saw Constantine tonight as well, and I really liked it too. I never read the comic hellblazer or whatever, and I understand that if you are a big fan of that, you won't like the movie. I however, don't know of it, so I Liked the movie the way it was.

i too enjoyed it... but keanu was god awful. im talking worst performance of his life. if he didnt stink it up so much, it'd prolly be one of my favorite movies.

Loved it. I’m not a big critic of movies, I just know what I like and what interests me. The story line was great in my mind. The special effects weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be, the acting pretty good from what I can tell (say what you want about Keanu, but I don’t have too much of a problem there), and the direction was interesting. Good for a few chuckles too. I didn’t mind the supposedly unnecessary stuff, but even if I did, it wouldn’t take much away. I don’t know much about movie standards, but I think Constantine is surely worth checking out. I was kind of pissed at the end though, being the sap that I am..

This was one of the most overage movies I've seen.

I did notice watching this movie that while Keanu is a very one note actor , given the right movie his gimmick can actually make a movie better.

John walk over to Kramer's (his dead sidekick) grave and places his lighter on top of it and utters some sentiment and walks away. He turns around Kramer is sitting atop his grave with 20 foot wing span and he stares at John with his eyes all filld with an orange glow, and then he shoots straight up into the sky. John has an "it figures" expression on his face. The end.

I dont let reviews dictate what I am or am not interested in. There's plenty of movies, games, etc. that received great reviews that I dont like, and plenty that got lousy reviews that I do like. I'll make my own judgements. I dont need anyone else to think for me.

the papers here thought it was pretty good. it may not be everyone's cup of tea but there were little/any serious flaws that i saw.
