I used to have Kazaa. Maybe I'll re-download it because I want some older songs and they aren't corrupt on there.

You can't find much to download on soulseek!? What are you looking for?
Use the wishlist feature. It's a godsend.

I've never actually used it to search for torrents, and have that section hidden entirely because I don't like it. I just use sites like Demonoid and Dime a Dozen, torrentspy I think it is, I don't know a whole lot of sites.
And I have never had to pay for any torrents before using it.

It's a bit torrrent program, mostly similar to most others in the fact that it automatically activates when opening a .torrent file (as long as it is the default torrent program, which it should be). It will ask you then where you want it saved, and you can select which files in the torrent you may not want, which is a good little feature.
It's just nicer to use than most other torrent programs. I haven't used Azureus yet though, which I think is quite popular.

i understand that it's a bit torrent prog, i just wanted to know where you get the free torrents from. it has a seach built-in that goes to a pay for download site. where do you go?

Depends on how many seeds and downloaders it has. Sometimes they do take a little bit to get started up.

Yeah the sites I use are: Demonoid; Dime a Dozen. They have all I need, generally... and if they don't I usually ask someone on a forum if they have a link to it, and most of the time things turn out ok
So I don't even really know any other popular torrent sites other than torrentspy, which was mentioned above.
Iha, have you used it yet? It's a 2mb file download or something... just give it a shot. It easily allows you to view statistics and other peers and has easy to use and good options...
It has been more fun to use for me than bit tornado.
