If this doesn't belong in this forum, feel free to move it. Since it is music-related, though, I'm posting it here for now.
Anyway, a friend of mine just bought a Bose Acoustimas 15 system. The front speakers and subwoofer sound awesome. The problem is the two rear speakers. Very low volume. He was thinking about putting in an extra speaker as there is a plug-in on subwoofer; however, he ran out of speaker connects on my technics receiver 940 model I think. What he was asking (why he was asking me, I have no idea) is if he should sell the two new rear speakers and replace them with larger ones? Or is that not the problem.
Or is there a way to add a sixth speaker, even if the speaker connects on receiver seem all filled at five.
Since I really don't know wtf, I thought maybe someone here would know. Thx!
