i wouldn't laugh at someone just for being fat. what i thought was funny was that she took emo pictures to hide the fact that she is overweight... and the difference the angle of a camera can make.

I wish more people thought like that too, but our culture's materialistic views and preoccupation with appearances are what make people take "the myspace angles" for photos. It's kinda funny that somebody has gone to angles like that to feel better about herself, but it's also pretty tragic that she has had to do so in the first place.

Hey, would we be laughing if she'd got lipo? Myspace photos are a lot cheaper. And if she feels better about herself for those photos, then all power to her. I feel sorry for her that somebody has gone to the lengths of making that little gif to destroy her self-esteem once more.


It's like, when we were in town last, one of our mates decided he was going to set up the guy who tried the least with girls that night, with this big fat girl. However, his cruel "booby prize" prank was ruined when another of our mates got talking to her, and found her to be a really nice, friendly person. He now dates her. All power to the two of them.
