One good thread deserves another.

Tubring opening for MSI. Never heard them untill they show but damn did they kick ass.

The Music opening for Incubus. I swear that singer channels Robert Plant.

Sevendust. For an ansoulty bare bones stage they sure know how to kick ass.

Limp Bizkit. I know I know. I hate the music too but I'll be damned if they dont put on a great show. They play a great variety of all their albums , give the fans exactly what they want , have tons of energy , and just flat out rock the house.

Couple of years back I caught a Tea Party not knowing who the openers were. The lights went out and Finger Eleven started playing in full force.....very rock and roll :guitarist

back then when i saw fear factory open for sepultura. i believe there were like four bands before we saw sepultura. :eek2: they were the first of the four to open though...

anyways, i knew who they were already and even owned one of their albums so they weren't totally new to me, but goddamn, they were AWESOME openers. i still have goosebumps from that performance.

I'm not a fan of "A". Their singer seems to be channelling Sting.

The Black opening for ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, that was just good time rock'n'roll, got us all happy.
Part Chimp opening for Mogwai
Joseph Arthur, The Cranes AND Mogwai all supporting The Cure
Dresden Dolls opening for NIN
Jesu (Justin Broadrick from Godflesh) opening for Pelican (post-metal nirvana, haha)

and they weren't an opening band, but since Kid 606 is just a guy with a computer, I'll say they were; Flat Earth Society supporting Fantomas. They were 14-strong, comprising a drummer, a double bassist, a keyboardist, a guitarist, and a 10-man brass band/vocal harmony troupe. They just laid down a groove and just had so much fun, rambling about Zulus and playing their big anthemic brass band tracks. It was great :D
