Hello Daniel,

At approximately 10:30am EST Liquid Web's commercial power supplier "The Board Of Water & Light" lost power to our facility as a result of winter weather conditions.

DC1 has two generators currently, a 313kva and a 650kva unit, the 650kva unit failed to start when the transfer switch attempted to activate it when commercial power ceased. The 313kva unit responsible for cooling and secondary systems started successfully. Technicians were already on site and with the assistance of engineering staff were able to diagnose the equipment start issue and activate the 650kva unit restoring power to battery and UPS systems and power was restored to all systems after an estimated 15-20 minutes of service interuption to customer equipment. Power to all customer boxes returned at this point in time and the large majority of equipment came back into normal operation at this point.

Reserve staff has been assembled, and all available technicians are working to restore service to any customers with remaining issues. Please follow up directly with us with any remaining issues, we are working to restore service to any and all clients who's machines have not returned to service properly.

Both generator units are load tested monthly and excercised weekly, and had experienced no failures in starting previously. An investigation with the supplier of the generator will be launched immediately.
