i was thinking about doing a kris kringle-type thing on the board, but then i got to thinkin' and thought that it was better if we as a board contributed just a few bucks (i.e. whatever you could) to a donation page i could setup on paypal and donate it to a children's hospital or something. i would imagine they'd need the gifts more than we do. well, except :heath:

anyways, what do you guys think? and if you know of a specific place we could donate the money to, let me know in this thread. i wouldn't want to just donate it to a charity here in miami, but i wanted it to be something national since we're in different parts of the country/world. i was thinking toys for tots, but i was thinking more along the lines of a children's hospital or an orphanage.

well, look, i think this'll be the easiest way...i have a paypal card that ties into my paypal account. so, i'll set up the donation link and post it here and on the website (i'll also send out a group email to everyone on this board). you guys donate whatever you could and as soon as we have all the money, i'll make a credit card payment on their site. i saw in their FAQs that they accept credit cards.

i'd like to get this done by the 16th, if possible to give them time if they wanted to use this money for toys. i'll email them today and ask them what they prefer.
