just to dig a little deeper into this...
I was born and raised a Michigan fan.
Practically all of my friends go to MSU.
And I was accepted (along with my friends who don't go to MSU) to EMU.
So when those teams play eachother, I have no idea who to root for. I generally base it on who's got the most to gain from a win... if EMU can win the MAC by beating MSU, I'll root for them, but if MSU can win the Big 10 by beating EMU, I'll root for them. If both can happen in the same game, I'm fucked. And then I'll just root for Alabama. I guess.

Colts.

I didn't start liking them until about 10 years ago though. I didn't start liking them because they were the hometown. I started liking them because they were the underdog. Then Manning, Harrison and James got together. Not they're not so much the underdogs.

I don't like the Dolphins because of Marino. I use to have a lot of respect for the guy. I use to feel sorry he had never gotten a Super Bowl ring. Then I watched him play a game in his last season in Indy. He couldn't have been bigger bitch. The officials couldn't have given them more good calls. It was obvious the officials were trying to help them out. I was sitting only 20 rows up directly in front of what was to be the most controversial call of the night. We lost the game. I thought there was going to be a riot. We got fucked. It's petty, I know. But fuck Marino and fuck the Dolphins.

I get to go watch the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders lose another game today. I think we're playing Arkansas or something. It doesn't really matter though. Our coach sucks so badly that we could have the best players in the world, and we would still fuck it up horribly. It's to the point now where the alumni association is banding together and refusing to give any more money to the university until Coach MacCollum turns in his resignation. Haha. What a tool. The worst part is that the guy makes over $100,000 a year to coach the shittiest team in our conference.

As far as I'm concerned the other 3 BCS bowls are of equal value really. And I've got a huge OSU fan for a neighbor.

...and Weis definitely should be considered for Coach of the Year. He took a team that some said would start 0-6 and so far he's only lost two games: one to a team that was red hot, and another to a team that had to resort to cheating to beat them. Okay, the refs say it's never called, but I gotta fall back on something lol.

In old Ohio there’s a team
That’s known thru-out the land;
Eleven warriors, brave and bold,
Whose fame will ever stand.
And when the ball goes over,
Our cheers will reach the sky,
Ohio field will hear again
The Buckeye Battle Cry –

Drive! Drive on down the field,
Men of the scarlet and gray;
Don’t let them thru that line,
We have to win this game today,
Come on, Ohio!
Smash through to victory.
