I was going to get that a few years back until I read at the bottom in 2pt print, "Some games subject to blackout"

Only the games that are broadcast locally to you are blacked out. It's perfect for catching your teams away games though.

I'll probably get it by the end of the month, but I'm hearing a rumour that the Habs won't be shown at all because they have all 82 games broadcast by RDS (french version of TSN.)

I may be watching my Habs in french this year :shrug:

As much as I love watching sports, no way am I paying extra to watch it. If the games not on I will either go to the local bar with a friend or two, or do something more productive,,,,,like bang the wife

sorry, didn't see your question. initially, i only wanted OLN since espn backed out like a bunch of bitches, so i called and asked about getting OLN. adelphia only lets you get OLN if you buy it packaged with a bunch of other sporting channels. so, it basically brings about 8 other channels or so with it for an extra $8 a month.

center ice was about $120.00 i believe. so far, i'm loving having a game to watch when the panthers aren't playing that night. i haven't experienced any blackouts yet, so i have no comment on that, but usually if it's blacked out on center ice, it's either on fox sports in florida or on OLN.

btw, is it me or do the games on OLN look like espn classic games? i miss the espn presentation. :sad:

OLN is my new favorite channel, seeing that it has televised all the Ranger games. I guess it is free with Comcast. I didn't even know it existed until I was flipping through the channels after they jumbled them all up, and came across the Ranger game. I was like wtf channel is this?!

and you're right.I was thinking the same thing about OLN. Tt has a very late 70's early 80's look and feel to it. Either that or the budget is $8 per game.
