he's holding out for more $$ and philly's management won't give it to him...so it's become a war of words between the two...

Meh, sticky situation, my ass. The union told him not to sign the original deal because it thought it was a bad deal. T.O. was all like, I'm not about the money, I just want to play with Donovan McNabb and win a Super Bowl, blah, blah, blah. Well, he got that annoying Drew Rosenhaus for an agent, who probably told him, T.O., I can get you more money. They thought that after the Super Bowl performance, they'd have the fans on their side. Well, the Eagles don't listen to the fans. It took them three years to listen and finally get a first-class receiver. Bottom line is, Terrell underestimated the Eagles' resolve when it comes to renegotiating. All he had to do was talk to Jeremiah Trotter and Hugh Douglas. That would been enough. The Eagles don't bargain unless they initiate it, like they did with Donovan. He signed the deal, and after one year, he shouldn't have been bitching about it. Besides, they didn't friggin win the Super Bowl with him, so he should :stfu: and play.'

I hadn't heard about the protests, though, hehehe.

he's not even holding out anymore... he reported to camp, and was suspended a week by Reid because he swore once in a "heated exchange" concerning him not being friendly enough with the rest of the team and practicing alone due to his bad groin...

Speaking of which they morning show was also talking about some prank back in the 80s.

2 players and the coach were all in on it. The 2 players started to "fight". Pushing eachother , sweraking , hittimg helmets , the whole deal. The coach stepped in and things just got worse. So the coach pulls out a gun with blanks and "shoots" the guys that are fighitng. The other players are freaking the fuck out and then the two guys get up and start laughing. Appparently it was in some blooper show or something and the DJ has the video. I wanna see it.

Is it just me or do these loud-mouths generally fade into obscurity. Or at least out of the limelight.

He supposedly told Andy Reid to shut up and he also skipped an autograph session, the only player to do so.

nate burleson (over 1,000 yards last year), marcus robinson, travis taylor, troy williamson, and kelly campbell

won't matter though, can you name more than two of the patriots WRs?

not a chance.... the packers are on a severe downward spiral... favre is their only hope now.... and the vikes actually have a defense this year.... watch out, they might go all the way

do they still Ted Cottrell as the DC??...or did they get rid of him??..

chilifoot
August 23rd, 2005, 01:35 PM
they have cottrell still.... and he has a lot of his old players.... by the 3rd game, they'll be pretty rock solid as a unit

MAGO
August 23rd, 2005, 01:38 PM
they should do well...there's no "real" competition in that division...Harrington(Lions) will screw up because of the pressure that's on him, the Bears are the Bears :what: ...so it may come down to the Vikes and Packs...we'll see..i'm a Jet fan, so you know i want the Pats to go down!..

MAGO
August 23rd, 2005, 01:47 PM
i hope so...they'll really miss their OC and DC...plus their leaders on the defensive side and the Jets signed Law, so you know he'll want revenge on his old team...

Pudie

I agree the Pack is slowly getting worse and worse but they should still do solid this year. Its hard to tell how it will go on the Vikes without Moss. I'd like to see them go all the way just cause theres a lot of talent on the team. But Im also not a vikes fan. So Fuck em!

moss was not the entire team.... people will find that out soon.... he was just one player, with a bad attitude... culpepper will be better without him crying for more passes thrown his way

Sad, but true. The loss of Bruschi will be huge. And Ty Law's gone, not that he didn't spend half the season hurt, but still. I can't complain. My boys have had a nice little run.

They are having food drives for T.O. in Philly. A friend of my brother was telling him that the local radio stations set up a "Cans for T.O." food drive because T.O.'s argument was that he wants to be able to "feed his family". Philly fans are hillarious.
