well, the time has come to part ways with the site...i received the last payment last friday and the check didn't bounce, so that's it. as soon as i get the transfer request from directnic, it'll be out of my hands. at least i got back my money, met :maytard:, and all of you crazies. it was a fun experience.
anyhow, for those of you wondering, i sold it to the person helping to run jamesiha.org. i had about 3 or 4 people interested, but she was the only one who seemed like a true fan, so i decided to sell it to her.
that's it for dotorg. :bye:

may i say, that i enjoyed apc.org alot. i met alot of you all there and was also there for a decent amount of time. I may have not been there at the start but i came and enjoyed it. Then it was my home. I would spend hours on there for days on end. Then something i feared...happened. Danny, you were shutting it down. It was a good idea to because of all the bullshit that was happening. But it felt like i was loseing a family. Then some of us went to oiad.net and soon to this new place encircling.us.
thanks apc.org.

well, things happen for a reason. if i did not purchase .org i would have never been friends with you guys, and i would have never even thought of this site, so no regrets on my part. the xbox.com people would still be my slaves though. just to clear that up... :whistle2:
plus, i cleaned that site's image up. you cannot imagine the shit i had to put up with because people thought i was joseph. i brought that site up from 1,000,000 ranking to like a 150,000 spot. which is not too bad considering all the billions of sites out there. it was a good run and a hell of a learning experience for me.

Here's my story:
I got into the club before it opened. I found James
just standing around. I introduced myself as Lisa from
his fan club. He said, "was it dot org???" Yeah like
that. He kept telling me he doesn't do these "internet
things". I told him I can take care of the people
online. He asked me to give him my email. So he
grabbed a piece of napkin and I was writing and
talking. I asked him first about his dog, he goes
"Why?? He's okay" I say, "Is Bugg still alive?" James
tells me off saying, "Why does it matter?? It's not
like I have to put photos of my dog all over the
Internet." Laughs. "Don't ask me fan questions."
Laughs Then I ask him, "What do you think about New
York compare to here?" He goes, "What's there to
compare? New York is New York" Laughs Something like
that. I try to get him to talk and he goes, "New York
is different." Laughs I ask him if he's doing any work
with Vanessa and the O's. He starts laughing
condescendingly and tells me in a sneer "They are just
a side project. I did it with my friends." Laughs And
remember, after every answer, he makes this
condescending laugh while looking around the room like
saying, "Oh my gawd what is she saying?"
Then he interrupts me and says in a rude way, "Stop
acting like a fan" Then, I just say to him, "Can I
take a photo with you, I'm really sorrry about acting
like a fan.." and profusely apologize And he cuts me
off, "You already said that, you don't need to repeat
yourself." Shaking his head and saying it in a very
rude tone.
He told me how The Sounds were having a new album next
year.
I asked him about an official site, and he kept
shaking his head and making those faces saying, "When
I have a record out."
So I take a photo. I ask him to sign my stuff and that
I have a lot of stuff for him to sign. And he goes, "I
don't like having fan moments." And he signs a few
stuff. I ask him if he gets any of Anna Sui's
clothing. He snaps and says says, "They are women's
clothes." I say, "Yeah, but like for someone." I ask
him about his clothing, and he goes about how his
friend had connections in Japan. Then I say, "It's
stylish, just like how you're stylish with your hair
and.. he cuts me off, "Wait wait, what are you talking
about? First you're talking about how stylish clothes,
then you talk about my hair. That doesn't make any
sense." He had to leave.
I now remember asking him if he drove or took the
subway to the club. He looked and acted to me like I
was weird. He kept saying "I started driving when I
was 16? What about it???????" He kept looking and
laughing at me weird for even mentioning it.
Supposedly they had a "guest list" for James. Well,
there was none and NO ONE danced. I say about 10
people wanted to take photos. I made huge rounds of
photos. He tried to smile at me when I saw him, and
wave at me when I waved at him. He tried to be nice on
the outside, but he was so b*tchy and rude. He hates
his fans and the Internet. He never saw my site. If I
ever get a letter from him, I'll probably change my
mind. But now, I'm pretty much disappointed and bummed
out.

Hello guys Smile
Due to some personal circumstances, I cannot continue with APerfectCircle.org. I really wanted to work on the site but stuff just happened to me and I have to let the domain go.
I want to ask for $1,200 through PayPal. If you want my APC pictures, I will give you the raw files to start. I don't like messageboards nor will I come back to read the responses from this board, so please, if you're a serious about making a purchase my contact info is on the frontpage.
Having folks like MOON and Skwerl to run fan sites is privilege for all of us. I hope my buyer will be just the same. Thank you. ~

I like how after he said he doesn't like fan moments, she asks if she could take a picture with him.
James Iha would be nothing if it wasn't for Billy Corgan.. he best recognize.
I really never liked Mr. Iha that much. He was boring live, and didn't even really do much of the guitar on the albums. That + him being a dick =

My apologies for going out of my way to disagree, but...
My point still stands. People buy music for their own personal pleasure...and if they do it to "support" the artist without knowing WHO they are supporting, then that's their fault. I'm sure most artists appreciate their fans support, but that doesn't mean the artist owes any sort of debt. I'm not saying James Iha has the right to be an asshole to his fans (for no reason), but isn't she the one who sought him out, probably expecting the world of him, when all she has to go by is his art...
Lesson one...don't expect shit from famous people. Everybody should know that...guess not, though.
Edit: as you can probably tell, I have nothing better to do

So
Maybe he only has time for the good fans?
Sounds funny, but a bit true. Maybe he does love his fans, who knows really, but he probably just doesn't like it when you act 'like a fan' around him, i.e. what had happened. I guess he just wants to be treated "normally" (how he defines that, I don't know). Because as Ken had said, they (the so-called famous artists) are people.
But then again, so was she. Some courtesy would have been nice.

remember this?
If I
ever get a letter from him, I'll probably change my
mind. But now, I'm pretty much disappointed and bummed
out.

remember this?
Then he interrupts me and says in a rude way, "Stop
acting like a fan" Then, I just say to him, "Can I
take a photo with you, I'm really sorrry about acting
like a fan.." and profusely apologize And he cuts me
off, "You already said that, you don't need to repeat
yourself." Shaking his head and saying it in a very
rude tone.

I must confess: I posted under the moniker dead_ohio_sky on dotorg. After Paige contacted me regarding the existence of this site, I grabbed my handkerchief and stick and ventured over to check it out. After arriving I discovered that the name dead ohio sky was already being used by some pirate, so I became PAN KANG! :punking2:
