- Even though it's my sister, whom I'm very close to, it still sucks that I can't go now. :crying2:

- But you guys will still have a good time without me.
You should bring her along. I'm sure the guys will behave themse...

...

Sucks you can't go anymore! I'm sure they won't guilt trip you too much by constantly posting "We had such a great time, but it would have been so much better with you there Greg! You would have enjoyed yourself sooooo much!"

Not to stir up any shit, Greg, but she did say "if you're not busy". Well, you were supposed to be busy. But I do understand that she's your sister and you want to see her. But to just pop a surprise trip like that on you all at the last minute doesnt seem like they best or most considerate thing to do, in my opinion. If she's not too far away, thats one thing, but people need to be prepared for someone coming from that far off. In other words, people like yourself should know ahead of time so things like this dont happen. But oh well. Im just disappointed, but its cool.

BWrizzle-

I forgot to tell you before...I know you're not an idiot, but most Nashville drivers are, so be really careful...the best rule of thumb is that if something makes sense, Nashville drivers will do the opposite. Also, the highways split about five times while driving through Nashville, so be aware of that...in addition, truckers fly through the Nashville interstates; they go an average of 75 in the city, which is really fun when you're trying to merge...so yeah- just be aware of that stuff. You will be surprised (or not) how stupid many drivers down here are.

*Now watch...I'll do something really stupid while driving somewhere this weekend...*

So this totally sucks...I have this really important application due on Tuesday...it's an eight-part process, and the eighth part involves getting three teachers to interview me. One of the teachers can only do it tomorrow, so I have to drive down to Murfreesboro at 11:30 to do that...on the upside, though, Murfreesboro has fried pickles...and if you've never had fried pickles, well, we need to go get some. So, yeah.

- Well the thing is, I didn't ever tell her that I was going...and my parents were fine with me missing out on their anniversary to go. But yeah, I guess didn't plan it ahead as much as I should of. I don't blame you for being disappointed, but it shouldn't make your guys' trip any less of a good time.

So what is to come from this "meet-up"? I feel this is going to change everything drastically; how these people perceive each other in relation to other members who they've not met yet. Not that that's a terrible thing.
It's just that your mind is susceptible to these intermittent flashes of angst and false perceptions, however subtle they may in fact be.

Ken appears to be a tad hairier than what I gathered from his pics. Should I hug him? He does smell good though. I never thought he'd wear that. He is built like a brick shithouse though. But is that all muscle? Or was Ryan correct in his assumption when he referred to Mr. Killian as a "fatty"?

OMG there's Byrche. Fancy that; he doesn't really drive a tractor. Hmmm. :hmm: I don't know what to say to him. I feel so intimidated by his legs and swell haircut. My stomach's a pretzel.

Oh there's Rob. Doesn't he look handsome. He smells like a bus though for some reason. How do I know what a bus smells like? When's the last time that I was even on a Greyhound? I was young then; on a journey to West Virginia... Oh shit. I think he just asked me something. And I wasn't even paying attention. I think he was talking to me. Oh fudge nuggets, he did say something. He's staring at me in anticipation. Fuck! What a great first impression. Dammit. Just say something you asshole.... "Damn. What aftershave do you use? You smell better than Ken."

I had a chat with Jess over msn a few hours ago. She told me that Byrche seems very "reserved," and that Rob is a lot goofier than she had imagined he'd be. I asked her to make sure she gives me all the details about Kenneth when he arrives. Hell, I'd pay to meet Ken, just to see if he really is as tall as a fire hydrant.

I can say that last night's conversation presented a problem we hadn't thought of before...in our discussion, we were talking about jazz...and then about jas...and we realized that it's much harder to determine the difference between jas, jazz, and jazmyne in a speaking conversation than it is in type.

I also thought it was funny when I answered the phone last night...this was my introduction to byrche:

me: Hello?
him: Hi.
me: Hi.
him: Hi. Is this Jessica?
me: Yes.
him: I was told to call you if I wanted to have a good time.
me: Well, I suppose it depends on who's calling...
him: This is Byrche.
me: Ohhhhhhhhhhh. Hi.

Woah. What in the tarnished spoon? Who in the hell brought up Jazz? :shame: And I don't mean 'who reared him?'. Enough of this literal mumbo jumbo.... And not 'mumbo jimbo' mind you. That'll be taken care of during the 3rd installment of these get-togethers: "Euro Trip Meet-Up: Let's talk about the differences between jas, jazz and jaymyne. Part 3"

We haven't met up yet for the day, so I have no idea what Byrche had for breakfast. I'll be sure to ask him for you, and report later.

I can tell you that last night, Byrche had a bacon cheeseburger, and Robber had mozzarella sticks. I had broccoli cheese soup.

Does that suffice for now?
