I've heard of them.
We don't have any locally. But I usually don't buy a gun unless I'm drunk. And I usually don't "buy" alcohol without my gun.

It wasn't her bed. I was making love to a sandwich in her fridge. I lost my balance and accidentally pulled the door off. It still runs. But I have yet to put the door back on.

Bruce

I'm going to take my Vonage box. Supposedly I can use it anywhere as if I were at home. All my calls within America and Canada are unlimited. The hotel is suppose to have broadband connections. I'll have my cell too.

Bruce
August 16th, 2005, 12:46 PM
What is a Vonage box? :uhhh:
I have phone service over my cable connection. My Vonage box is the interface between my pc and my cable modem. My phone plugs into it. I can take the thing anywhere in the US and Canada, provided a high-speed connection is available, and make calls as if I were at home. $27 and change for unlimited calls in the US and canada. Best investment I've ever made.

Why cant ya just take a plane?
because i live in arizona, only had 7 weeks max advance notice and no flights are under $600 round trip... that is why.
KenKill75
August 16th, 2005, 02:22 PM
Yes, I see, you're right. They all seem to be at least $500 from Flagstaff. Could you get to the Phoenix airport instead? Flights to Nashville are more reasonable from there. Just tryin' to help come up with alternatives. :shrug2:
Tzarina
August 16th, 2005, 02:26 PM
no, to leave ones car for over a week is another $200... second, all of that is WAY too much money to spend for a weekend... also i have a dog with cancer and every surgery has been over $1500... with a couple more to come...
my biggest issue right now is that this wasn't enough forenotice for the distance involved (FOR ME), i think that the fact no one even nearly as far as i is going to try this is a HUGE indication that nashville is a bad choice for alot of us  and i checked on flights out of phoenix, book for those days, over $600 round trip.
KenKill75
August 16th, 2005, 02:28 PM

and no worries rob, i can just avoid the entire thing and keep to the southwest, no problem at all.

I thought your original plan was to stay with Jess longer, so that you didnt make the long drive only to stay for a short time.
mmm, i have family there, no need for added stress on jess... i may arrive weds so i can help her, but once people get there it will be chaotic, and just better not to have me depending on her for rides and such and adding stress.
i also need to get a friend here in AZ to Birmingham, drive down to Atlanta to see Paige, i hope :cross:, i have family right outside nashville, and i want to photograph valley forge in the fall, so i need a car to be able to go where i am planning :)
It's why i am taking alot longer to get there than to come home.
