you don't know how lucky you guys are to have won three superbowls in four years. i'd be lucky to see the dolphins win just one in my lifetime.

or the panthers win the cup for that matter. :sigh:

I know. I still find it hard to believe they did it. Growing up, I took so much abuse for being a Pats fan because they were always so bad, LOL. I've definitely relished every title! I've been to all three parades, too. It takes me seven hours to get to Boston, but I've gone each time :bleu:

face it, they had the raw talent...roy, forsberg, sakic, foote, ozolinsh, etc., we had a group of guys playing above and beyond their capabilities and they just got hot when it came playoff time.

LOL, I still hate Roy...

The post-T.O. Eagles looked like shit. Their offense is hideous and so is the play-calling. I don't understand why Westbrook was not on the field when the Birds were driving and in TD range with a minute+ left in the game. Instead, McNabb throws a pick. Wouldn't you want one of your best players that you just signed to a five-year deal on the fucking field, either as a diversion or as the guy who'll get the ball? The pick was ridiculous. The receiver was wayyyyy behind the guy who picked it off, who was just sitting there, basically cherry picking. I can't believe McNabb didn't see him.

same thing happened to the dolphins. but it's understandable since we have frerotte as our starter. he's no mcnabb.

anyways, we had a chance to tie the game late in the 4th against the falcons. we were deep in the red zone, it was 3rd and 2, we had ricky williams and ronnie brown running well all game (averaging 5 and 6 yards a carry, respectively), and we call a pass play that gets picked off.

if you were the miami dolphins and you knew that the qb position was your greatest liability, what would you do?

a.) wait until draft day and hope you draft high enough to land an up-and-comer.

b.) make a trade with a team that currently has two quality starters (i.e. san diego). but who would you give up from the dolphins without making another part of the team weaker?

c.) :suicide:

Colts? Sure. But the Seahags? You can't be serious. They are one of the softest teams in the NFL. Punch them in the mouth and they crumble. I'd love to see my 'Skins there but they are a year off from being Super Bowl contenders. Look for either Carolina or the Falcons in the Super Bowl. Both of them can run the ball but the Panthers have a championship caliber defense.

here's something from one of my co-workers...

Philadelphia (AP) - A seven year old boy was at the center of a Philadelphia, PA courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy had a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge originally awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court by proclaiming that his aunt beat him more than his parents did and he adamantlyrefused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with the grandparents, the boy cried out that they beat him also.

After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic abuse was a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Philadelphia Eagles, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

Man, I am so torn, but I guess I want the Colts to win; then if we win, we take lead in the division. But then it's the Colts the week after. Hmmm...

I thought I saw a man brought to life
He was warm
He came around
And he was dignified
He showed me what it was to cry

Well you couldn't be that man I adored
You don't seem to know
Or seem to care
What your heart is for
I don't know him anymore

There's nothin' where he used to lie
My conversation has run dry
That's what's going on
Nothings right
I'm torn

I'm all out of faith
This is how I feel
I'm cold and I am shamed
Lying naked on the floor
Illusion never changed
Into something real
I'm wide awake and I can see the perfect sky is torn
You're a little late
I'm already torn

So I guess the fortune tellers right
I should have seen just what was there and not some holy light
But you crawled beneath my veins
And now, I don't care
I have no luck
I don't miss it all that much
There's just so many things
That I can't touch
I'm torn

There's nothin' he used to lie
My inspiration has run dry
That's what's going on
Nothing's right
I'm torn

Ken, the Colts play Pittsburgh, Seattle (on the road) and the Chargers, so they might be considered tough. Jacksonville (on the road) also could be trouble. Arizona and Tennessee shouldn't be a problem.

Indy's at home and Ben will need to have a huge game if Pitt wants to win.

Colts are just so tough right now, and executing nearly perfectly. Maybe once they wrap up home field in the playoffs they will take a rest and possibly let a game go. Going undefeated isn't really something they should be aiming for.

Unless they actually want it, I don't think they will go undefeated. Last season they gave up a game that didn't effect their playoff standings. They didn't want any starters getting injured being the reason. I see them doing the same if they feel necessary and are so concerned about a record season. But I also don't see how they can let it go. :shame: Seattle is the last real game they have. Maybe San Diego.

MojoFearsSatan

That was a hell of a game last night, well, the first half was anyway. Not to take anything from Indy, cos they deserved the win, obviously, but the second half was a lot less exciting; just 'cos the first TD was so quick in coming (and not like the lightning bolt that Harrison's was)... personally, faced with that 4th & 4, I'd have kicked the field goal and banked on two scores (always a risk with the colts I appreciate, but more risky than a QB draw on 4th and 4?). It's hard to be mad at Cowher though; after all, unusual, often risky plays have been the Steelers' forte for a while now; when it comes off, it's all "wow, would never have thought of that!", when it doesn't work, yea, it looks dumb in the face of much more logical ideas. But on the day, the Steelers were outplayed and the Colts were value for their victory, so fair enough.

we were playing horribly the entire game. we were taking a ton of false start penalties, dropping passes left and right, playing shitty secondary defense, our backup had to come in because frerotte got injured, you name it...it was so bad, i had to go take a breather and play basketball outside.

when i left to go play outside, it was 23-3 bills, when i came back in, it was 23-17. we managed to stop them on defense, get back the ball, then rosenfels throws a fucking interception. i thought it was over, typical dolphins. but we had two timeouts left and the 2:00 warning. we get the ball back and we score a touchdown with 0:06 left in the game!!!!

I don't even like the Colts anymore.

I've decided to go with the underdog at this point.

Go Jets!

The Jets are not in the NFL anymore. They've been stripped of their franchise. :strip: :tits:

Same with the Jets. Theirs isn't too bad.
i prefer the one they had before they decided to go retro and keep it.

Giants won, but Eli sucks. What a pussy.

Colts, 12 wins 0 losses.

Peyton should give his brother a beating and teach him a few lessons.
I am convinced that Peyton is an autistic idiot savant... how else could he look retarded, sound like he has down's syndrome, and yet still run an offense with the expertise of an offensive coordinator?

No, I'll take a lead from Eli and say "no way I'm being drafted or playing for either the Jets or Lions... I'm TOO GOOD for them..."

stop being bitter. Drew Brees is doing good enough, surely? I mean... what are you now, 8-4? Just as good as the Giants are doing, so you know, not like it's too bad. You have the best blocking fullback in the league, one of the highest rated half-backs, one of the best tight ends... you don't NEED Eli Manning. The only thing Eli has over his brother is that he doesn't waste about 30 seconds before every play doing a retarded dance.

:uhh: you're not talking to me right?? I'm not a Chargers fan...

I make fun of Eli like I do these other twits that enter the NFL, not having proven themselves professionally, demanding instead of elated they get to play a professional sport that too many others would give a left testicle to be a part of...

I couldn't care less about Eli... I'm only worried about the Chiefs... so I said 'go chargers because they have the broncos coming up and i want the broncos to LOSE... always LOSE God I HATE and DESPISE that fucking football team...

The 'retarded dance' comment is funny though :lmao:
