since a few people have asked me already on ways they could help with donations, i'm making email accounts available for anyone interested in helping out the site. i'll be charging approximately $1.10 a month (the extra $0.10 to cover the paypal charge) for each email account. it has pop access (outlook, thunderbird, etc.,) as well as web access.

just go to http://www.encircling.us (http://www.encircling.us/), then navigate over to the donate page. it's the paypal button under choice #2. drop me a PM and let me know who you are (in case your paypal username doesn't match the one you use here).

if you're not interested in an email addy and you still want to help out with a donation, just go to choice #1 and make a donation (any amount you wish). there are other ways to help out, just read the page for more info.

i don't see why people are so scared of using paypal (i know that's not your case, heathcliff). i've been using them for years and they're solid. at least as solid as other payment methods available on the web.

EDIT: anyways, the point was not to sell anyone an email address (i could easily give them out to anyone who wanted it), it's just to give something back to the people who subscribe. if you're gonna donate a $1 a month, it's the least i could do.

You could get a Visa Debitcard. It allows you to purchase stuff from the internet, and because it uses your own money linked to your own account, no company cares about what you spend - so anyone (meaning of any age in your case) should be able to get their hands on one.
