he was always stressed that getting to 20 defenses was his goal...he reached that so now he's cashing in...he's not hurting for $$ but his only big payday was when he fought De La Hoya...now he's getting ready to retire so he's cashing in....i think he'd make more $$ fighting Taylor then he would if he fought Wright or tarver.....

well he's appealing the judge's decision on the 12th round....the judge gave it to Taylor and Hopkins clearly won that round, so that would have made it a draw...and i agree that in the rematch Taylor will win....

I still wouldnt have had it a draw. I thought Taylor won 7 out of the first 8 rounds. Even if Hopkins won all of the last 4, thats still 7 rounds to 5 in favor of Taylor.
