what the hell does java mean

okay, I am still trying to install fucking office onmy linux computer...it will do everything BUT the main problem is that I apprently do not have java to support it..

what the hell is java..just give it to me in plain non computer terms...please?

Well, Java is a computer program owned by Sun Microsystems. Google "Java" and see if you can download the latest version of Java runtime environment for Linux, it would hopefully be available... though I am very, very unfamiliar with Linux.

i am going fucking mad cuz I am applying for a job...my computer doesnt wanna work, my other computer which got fixed has no fucking word or anything on and the library computers only give you 30 mins to do work and then you are off.

hey spark, if you need to download java quickly, go to the main page (http://www.encircling.us/) and click on LIVE CHAT. you should get a pop-up asking you to download java...and if that doesn't happen, just click on the download java link. that should work.
