Saturday evening I saw a replay of a boxing match from last month and it was the best fight I have ever seen in my life. Corrales vs. Castillo in the 135 pound weight class. It was an absolute slugfest, like something out of a Rocky movie. They were just beating on each other back and forth the entire fight and it was pretty even. 10th round, Corrales gets knocked down twice and it looks like he's lost it. But after the 2nd knock down he gets in a flurry of punches and has Castillo lookin like a ragdoll up against the ropes, so the ref had to step in and stop it. Crazy stuff. Awesome match.

it was alright...the fight was stopped pre-maturely(sp?) imo....the ref wasted too much time when corrales was knocked down twice....there was 50-something seconds left in the round when corrales had castillo on the ropes....i don't agree with the stoppage...

They said it was because he was against the ropes. They said that is dangerous and they are supposed to stop it if someone is in that position. As far as the wated time, Corrales got a point taken away for that, because he kept spitting out his mouthpiece. Regardless of any of that, I thought it was a great fight. Nonstop action the whole way through.

well it's a mandatory re-match so if he doesn't take it they strip his belts from him....Castillo is a good fighter, he beat Mayweather imo when they fought but it was one of those bullshit decisions.....yeah i watched the Tarver/Johnson fight, Roy was one of the commentators, he's a real dick, Lampley asked him if he'd want to fight the winner of the Tarver/Johnson fight and he said no, because none of those fighters motivate him..i was hoping Lampley would say "but they both knocked you out?"....lol..
