How would you rank the reliability of my server?

Honestly, I had the occasional hiccup, but that was during your transition and correction stages early on to the new server. I like it overall, but I wish there were more pm options.

restarting the computer usually solves it. i sometimes get that when i close mozilla thunderbird (which is constantly refreshing itself to receive mail), and i guess all the idle time screws up the connection.

yeah, i sometimes get database connection errors like at 3am, but that only just started happening recently.

I'm just seeing this one, jazz0r, but I voted for "above average"--I've been noticing slower load times in between about 2AM and 4AM Central (which would be 3AM thru 5AM your time). Not sure why that is, since that's usually a better time to be online. :shrug:

but yeah, most of the time it's gonna be your own connection. whenever you have trouble getting into this site, go to a few other sites just to compare. if the other ones load without a problem, then you know it's this site. if the sites take three years off your life to load, then it's your own dial-up/broadband connection that's fucked.

i get that a lot of when i leave my computer on and the internet gets idle on me. sometimes it wakes up when i start visiting sites (mainly this one), and other times, if it's really non-responsive, i'll have to restart the computer.
