It was a great feast, I must say. The weather was great and we capped off our day watching the Philly Fourth of July concert and fireworks. Elton John was the headliner, and it included performances by Patti LaBelle and Rufus Wainright (sp?). He sucked, but the rest of the show was great. Man, Elton can still play that piano.

I went out to dinner with friends.
I had:
Some sort of crab/avacado spread on pita bread (deeeeelicious)
Blackened grouper with a crab topping
Broccoli rabe
Some sort of grain with a lemon flavor that was outstanding. It was kind of like couscous, but I can't remember the name of it.
Chocolate silk, which was chocolate mousse on top of an oreo/mocha crust, topped with whipped cream, a dash of chocolate sauce, and shards of white chocolate...to die for...:drool:
