Got Apple to send a box so I can ship it out for repair - which just means them sending me a new iPod.

james
June 1st, 2005, 03:54 AM
They better send me a brand new 60GB iPod photo this time, rather than an old refurb 20GB 3G iPod.

As far as im concerned, hard drives are not meant to be carried around like that. Too sensitive. I'll stick with my flash player. Less memory but more durable.

I dropped mine on the treadmill, landing half on the tread, half on the runner. The bastard started spinning and then it shot off the back of the treadmill like a missle. Still works perfectly, and all that hype about the battery croaking after a year and a half is bull. I use mine every day and I am past the two year mark.

I remember asking my mom what a ghetto was. She didn't really give me an answer. i asked my mom what a hooker was and I wasn't allowed to watch Three's Company anymore for a few years...

My friend said his grandfather wouldnt let him watch Different Strokes. His reason being that a rich white man would never have taken in 2 black kids like that. :lmao:

They better send me a brand new 60GB iPod photo this time, rather than an old refurb 20GB 3G iPod.They usually send you the exact same model you send in and it usually isn't new. I believe the statistics on shipping out new ipod's as replacements is something like 11% or very low.

They certainly won't give you a free upgrade unless they absolutely can't avoid it. And then again, if they can fix it then that's what they'll do.

that's why i got an iskin for mine. I've dropped mine a few times, and i'm sure it'd be busted by now if I didn't have it. I barely know what my iPod looks like because I NEVER take it out of the iskin. It gives me peace of mind. :sun:

for lithium batteries, useing them frequently is better then going long periods of time w/ out useing them.

my sony thing has been dropped numerous times

one of the things i considered when i bought it was how my sony portable cd player has been through far more than its share of abuse and it still works like the day i took it out of the box 5 years ago

i can throw that thing down a set of stairs and not worry about it at all

sometimes the battery cover falls off
