wow, what a freaking day. apparently someone had accidently cut the underground fiber that feeds our internet connection and not just that, but today was one of those sloooooooow days and i was all caught up on my work. i had absolutely nothing to do except clean up my pc. :what: i managed to see maybe like two or three posts on here, but it was too unbearable.

they sent out an email towards the end of the day claiming that they'd have it fixed by midnight tonight. :jerk: last time they said that, it took 3-4 days to have it functioning normally again.

so far it seems to be working fine... although it could go at any minute though. :insecure:

anyways, i think i've said this a few times already, but i work for the procurement section of the information technology department in our county. i deal with state contracts, local contracts, and salesholes all day.

not the job i'm planning to have for the long-term, but it pays well. :shrug:
