View Full Version : So I finally saw Fight Club...

After years of hearing about it I finally went out last night and rented it...I liked it. I may have to buy it. It really pissed me off at everything, though.
I liked it so much I hate the author for getting such a good idea. I wish I would have thought of it. That's how good it was. When you wish you would have thought it up yourself, it must be really fucking good. It was pure story, the whole way through. Saw the ending coming, though, mainly because I'd heard about it from somewhere else.
Fav scene: I guess the narration at the beginning, where he explains how he got to the support groups, or the lye burning scene.

Yeah, we've established that.
I've noticed that many other people on this forum have broken it, too.

Hmmm... that's a good idea, but I think he's busy being investigated. I think Michael Eisner is going to have a lot of free time coming up shortly. I'll get back to you...

Well, I gotta tell you: I'd be very, very careful who you talk to about that, because the people who reply to this...are dangerous.
And these button-down, Oxford-cloth posters might just snap, and then stalk from thread to thread with an Armalite AR-10 carbine gas-powered semi-automatic weapon, pumping round after round into colleagues and co-posters. This might be someone you've known for years. Someone very, very close to you.
Or maybe you shouldn't post every little piece of trash you happen to pick up.

Tyler: One-forty-eighth of a second. That's how long it's up there.
Jack: No one really knows that they've seen it. But they did.
Tyler: A nice, big cock.
Fight Club is awesome.

Brad Pitt is great. He and Leonardo deCaprio remind me of each other in a way that it seems a lot of guys don't want to say they are cool actors because they are so 'pretty'

leonardo dicaprio sucks nuts
but i cant think of a shitty role that brad pitts been in
and from his list of roles, theres only about two that are in anything that MIGHT be considered "girly" (joe black and thelma and louise)
everything else rocks

In addition to the two you mentioned, he sucked in:
Legends of the Fall
The Devil's Own
A River Runs Through It
He was OK in Kalifornia. He was meh in Ocean's 11...
I didn't see Troy or Ocean's 12 or Se7en or 12 Monkeys, mainly because he was in them. I've heard 12 Monkeys was pretty good, though, so I might have to actually rent that one.
