Well, its been a while since I've been here mainly because I've been collecting pieces of my heart all over town. About 3 days after I lost my job, Jessica told me she wasnt "in love" with me anymore and wanted time apart to figure out if Im what she wants... after over a year of great times and great sex. So, I agree to the seperation and think that everything will work out, we just need time apart. Well, about a week after the seperation, my friend sees her at Denny's after work with the cop/guy that she's been talking to and I confront her about it and she promised that she wouldnt see/talk to him until we figure out if we want each other. Well, obviously she broke that deal and I went at about 3am to pack more of my shit. So its basically over then and she said it would be a looong time before she gets into another relationship after me. Its just the hardest slap in the face I've ever gotten. She was my first long-term relationship because it just seemed so right. yeah, thats pretty much what im hoping for. My oldest sister thinks along the same lines as you do... because she used to be that way as well. But she also had bi-polar and depression and pretty much beat it. She told me that she looks back on about 2 guys that she's done that to and to this day thinks that either one would have worked out great. I highly highly doubt I could ever take her back anyway. I'm kind of in the same boat as your ex, JD. I'm taking some time for myself. I'm not sure if I want to be with her like we used to be anymore. I'm wanting to go to school and keep my job and it just seems like it'll be a lot easier if I'm unattached. Plus there's a lot of shit that went on (she didn't mess around or anything like that) and I don't know if I can even trust her anymore. i agree, but you also have to understand that it's pretty hard moving on after having dated and shared so many things with that one person for many years (he mentioned themselves being 'like married'). i dated someone for about the same amount of time and after we had split, it was really hard adjusting. i was hurting for a good 3-4 months.

now, when you throw in the story involving the married cop and the fact that she was a stripper (no offense, jdm), i could imagine that cutting down the adjustment period. it's still a shock to the system though...at least for a good two weeks.

been pretty busy this weekend. Had to finish moving all my crap outta my old apartment. Very close to having her outta my life completely, thank god.
