Okay, let me try to explain this star sign compatibility shit as best I can (the way I view it all) and what I’ve experienced with people, because as you know whenever I talk to people I’m always thinking about their sign and their personality…

It goes like this:

1. Aries – FIRE SIGN
2. Taurus – EARTH SIGN
3. Gemini – AIR SIGN
4. Cancer – WATER SIGN
5. Leo – FIRE SIGN
6. Virgo – EARTH SIGN
7. Libra – AIR SIGN
8. Scorpio – WATER SIGN

10. Capricorn – EARTH SIGN
11. Aquarius – AIR SIGN
12. Pisces – WATER SIGN

There are three FIRE signs, three EARTH signs, three AIR signs and three WATER signs.

Every fire sign gets along well with every fire sign, every earth sign gets along with every earth sign, etc.

However, FIRE and AIR signs have the best compatibility, while EARTH and WATER signs have the best compatibility.

There is one small difference, though. Every single sign has an opposite or ‘opposing’ sign on the chart that is always of the element that your sign gets along well with, and although you may be of compatible elements, there is still some difficulty when the two of them meet.

For example, ARIES (fire sign) is my opposite sign (Libra, air sign). This goes the same for you with Capricorn. Capricorn (earth sign) is your opposing element. I get on perfectly with all the other 3 air signs, and get on perfectly with all three fire signs (except Aries sometimes because we are ‘opposing signs’,) but for Earth signs and Water signs, I get on Harmoniously with one of each, Difficultly with one of each and Turbulently with one of each. For me those are:

Now, there are a few connections here. On the chart, every second signs tends to get along best with each other: Starting with Aries on the wheel and jumping to every second sign, it would look like this:

ARIES; GEMINI; LEO; LIBRA; SAGITTARIUS; AQUARIUS

Notice something there? They all get along best, and they’re all FIRE and AIR signs, the two elements that are harmonious together. If we started with the second sign of the zodiac, Taurus, and did the same, it would look like this:

TAURUS; CANCER; VIRGO; SCORPIO; CAPRICORN; PISCES

…and these are all the signs that get along well, save the ‘opposing’ signs, but they still get along fine usually.

So, around the wheel every second sign gets along well, and everything else in between is HARMONIOUS, DIFFICULT or TURBULENT for every other sign.

Also, any sign directly next to another sign, for example VIRGO (September) / LIBRA (October) / SCORPIO (November) all get along well.

Notice how my (if you scroll back up and look at Libra’s Harmonious, Difficult and Turbulent signs) how for Earth my harmonious sign is Virgo, and my harmonious water sign is Scorpio? That’s because they are right next to my sign in the chart.

It’s exactly the same for every other one as well. For you (Cancer) you have Gemini (June) and Leo (August) next to you in July. If you’ll scroll up, you’ll notice Gemini and Leo are your Air and Fire harmonious signs.

See how this all works out? This is all the shit I have stored in my head that I’ve gone over and over and over a thousand times in my mind.

A few other things to mention:

An element’s opposite sign ALWAYS gets along Harmoniously with it’s opposing sign’s TURBULENT signs, and vice versa. Check it out:

Aries (Opposite me, Libra) –

Harmonious Earth: Taurus (Turbulent for Libra)

Harmonious Water: Pisces (Turbulent for Libra)

Libra (Opposite for Aries) –

Harmonious Earth: Virgo (Turbulent for Aries)

…and this is exactly the same for every single other sign.
