- :what: ...Ok, I just received my first 2 viruses and went through the process of doing what the links below told me to do and then doing a full system scan (in Normal & Safe Mode), but after both scans it stated that it did not detect any viruses.
- I did however use the Start > Search option to locate the files and then I deleted them...but Norton's AntiVirus still has the viruses in their Activity/Threat Log :rolleyes2: ...so does that mean that their still on my computer or is the Activity Log just supposed to show you your previous threats??
- Here are the links from Symantec's web site showing what you have to do for both viruses:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/download.trojan.html
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/bloodhound.exploit.6.html
- ...any advice or help...please? :temple:

Up to your old scare tactics again, ure? :what:
BTW I hate NAV. That's a biggest piece of crap software...
Did you check your settings and stuff whether you had Automatic or Manual removal?

I have w32.flita.trojan
and no fucking place has a clue how to get rid of it without me having to shell out, and I simply can't afford to throw £40 on antivirus software. I want to leave it a couple of days and let the uni sort it out, but i've ended up downloading enough scanners and things and all they do is crash my computer.

Invest in Steganos (http://www.steganos.com/?product=SAV7&language=en&layout=default). You won't regret it. McAfee and Norton can eat ass.

For those that don't want to shell out money for antivirus software
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
It's a free scan. Sometimes classifies files as "non-deletable" but then you can just save the filenames and delete them on your own.
