no really...I think the Eagles need to beef up their wide-receiver and tight-end slots...and to replace some of the lost defensive line...other than that, they should do fine, given that the NFC sucks...

Another rumor going around is that the Chargers are going to trade Phillip Rivers to the Niners for the #1 pick so that THEY can take Edwards. I'd love to see Edwards in the Burgundy & Gold but I know the only way it'll happen is if we move up to #3 at the latest.

as for me cowboy fan here, talk lately has been about mike williams and what not but they're saying the vikings might pick him up first. other news is that the cowboys might trade their picks for a pick next year and what not. so who knows, we'll see what happens.

The smartest thing the Niners could do this year is draft Braylon Edwards at #1. With the level of talent they currently have, they have a real good shot at landing the #1 pick next year as well, and could select Leinhart from USC to compliment Edwards.

Shawne Merriman from Maryland. He's a 274 lb tweener with a 41" vert and runs a 4.6 40. Outstanding for a guy his size. Parcells wants to go to a 3-4 and Merriman is the guy for that. He can play with his hand in the dirt, or as an OLB.
