you should check out their forums. almost everyone hates G4. I really dont understand how they are still around. Here is one rant someone posted about the debute of "Attack of The Show!". What a stupid... fucking... name...

Let's start with anything that was good left over from the old Tech-TV (ZD) is all gone but ONE last thread.
X-Play and Adam Sessler. Don't get me wrong, Morgan is still impressive as a glib one-liner queen, but we all
know it is only Adam that is the last vestige of what we used to watch for on the channel before G4 came
and ruined it all.

Now TSS is in the dustbin with CFC, Cool Gear and so forth, you know shows that were on a network that
balanced entertainment with information. The reason why TSS went down in ratings is clear. NO CHARISMA
or INDENTIFICATION with the show hosts. The Two Kevins (sounds like a bad BBC comedy to me) and Sarah mean
well I am sure, but no zing and no identity. Patrick, Leo, hell Martin and Morgan had more going for them with
bringing a flair and familiarity to the viewers.

Now the format changed, but that name.... why didn't you just call it "We have No Creativity in Naming a Show!"
and be done with it. Or you could have called it Crap TV. As that was what happened last night! I endured 44 minutes
of the show and hoped that it would get better. It NEVER came close. But its either that or more re-runs of G4 shows
that pre-date the theft of Tech-TV and its dismantlement.

As I said the only link to the bright past is Adam Sessler now and when he gets shelved or leaves on his own accord I
am out. I watched the old G4 on rare occasion and since the majority of what made TechTV great has left I am back to
rare watchings of the channel. Only X-Play keeps me there and ONLY Adam and Morgan. They are worth watching.

Call me insane (most people do), but I enjoy LEARNING something along with my cyber entertainment. Knowing
there are Dr. Pepper-esque product websites is as Kevin even said "A waste of Bandwidth", and a huge 2600
controller is as entertaining as watching CSPAN! The show is a waste of bandwidth. It was lame, clunky and
unsupervised. I blame the production team and director more for how it was so dis-jointed. It made me ALMOST
(only almost) want to watch a show with Mixmaster Blunt rather that this trite. I'd rather watch a marathon
of Pringles Cheat and it be the same episode about KOTOR ONE over and over than this.

To put it mildly it sucked. To put it harshly, I have seen better high school made public access TV directored by
half-dead ADD chimps on crack and rohypnol and funded in part by the local First Satanic Church of Anton LeVay!

Next to Twisted this is the MOST wasteful use of cameras, lights, sets and boom mics. I'd rather watch a home
show showing you how to decorate your walls with burlap squares than Attack of the Lamers!

What they could not kill with TSS, this will definietly kill now.

I pine for the old days when the shows MEANT something and was not just a bunch of self-absorbant
fluff with as much love put into as a greeting card email from Yahoo!

well, it was actually a huge NES controller, not an atari 2600 joystick. whoever spent the time/money to build that should be enrolled to the iraqi police force. it was nicely-built, but goddamn, what do these people do all day?

Funny to read this and then watch the X-Play April Fools episode. It was all about Adam leaving the show to start a late night talk show called "Meet The Sess" :laughing:
