Damn... i forgot how hard Ninja Gaiden was

When I first got this game and played it hours on end, I remember being pretty damn good. I havent touched it in about 5 months and decided to try and get into it again and actually finish it this time. Well, im on Chapter 10 (where I left off) and holy hell this game is freakin hard! I love it :eek3: I cant imagine how hard 'Hard' is and I remember downloading the Hurricane Pack back when I was decent and dying (no exaggeration) in about 30 seconds.

Is this game hard in a cheap kinda way? Like in Mortal Kombat, it's always the boss or the guy before the boss that's always killing you in the dumbest ways. I don't mind a challenge but some games take a very cheap route to add a so called challenge that is really just more aggrevating than challenging.

I hope that made sense, although I doubt it did...

- I wouldn't say that Ninja Gaiden is cheap but I wouldn't go into this game thinking your just gonna hack n' slash your way through the game...defense/blocking is the only way you are going to get through this game. :chucks:

Not cheap at all, and Keith is right about the only way you're beating this is with blocking.

yep... its definately not cheap. I've gotta get used to all the combos again and i have to keep reminding myself to BLOCK and ROLL!

I've been playing it all weekend and I cant remember where I left off. Everytime I beat a chapter Im thinking "Ok, this is a new area". Then about 5 minutes into it, "Nope, i remember this area too". Im now on chapter 13 or 14. I just finished piecing together the tablets for the Twin Serpents and beat Alma for the second time and now im in that pyramid. And I remember doing the pyramind too :plain: How many chapters are there in this game?
