Drag Racing is a very broad and very inclusive sport. Most local drag strips let you bring your street legal cars to race at least one night a week…

nah, just cars :lol: some had big engines. but then it was the desert. and it was the first time they ever did it, and i was there! bored out of my mind :nerd3:

Don't say that, these guys go 300mph, I can't stand when they crash, I've watched drivers die, my father watched drivers die, many of them friends; as well as on old friend last year... :crying:

There's nothing else like it, and you'll learn something, get pit passes, go talk to the drivers yourself... If you like drag racing that much, get off the streets, you can make some good money as well if you are good at it...

I grew up at a drag strip :shrug: I liked to speed on the freeway, down the street...usually just going fast and don't realize... i still have that problem, but not racing :shame:

Oh, yeah, I have a lead foot definitely, but I'm conscious of it and try to be safe. But when you get two kiddies who think they know how to drive but really have no idea what-so-ever slamming their foot on the gas to race each other, you're just asking for trouble.

Okay, ESPN 360 formally ESPN broadband will be airing live qualifying, on Friday, of this weeks NHRA event, and it's free...
So those of you that usually can not see it, are able to view it live ... I am soooo jealous... :frown:

Lisha would be proud, that cunt, I went to the drag races in NJ yesterday. Shoulda brought ear plugs. Holy crap, it made Nascar sound like little birdies chirping. Think I felt my kidneys rattle when those 8,000 horsepower beasts flew off the starting line.
