Exactly what kinds of thoughts? I don't think that much about 9/11 anymore at all, with all the other terrorist attacks going on all over the world.
And you really want to know my thoughts on government... do you mean the tyranny of the United States Governmental system?
or government in general?

its written in english, albeit sloppy handwriting
its a note that Mike Vreeland handed to Canadian authorities a month before sept 11th... he was in jail awaiting charges on credit card fraud but claimed his extensive criminal record was fabricated and he was an American working for the pentagon
he jumped bail and disappeared

"The Project for the New American Century is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to a few fundamental propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; that such leadership requires military strength, diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle; and that too few political leaders today are making the case for global leadership. What the hell happened to the constitution determining this shit? Where's the Bill of Rights? When did these moralistic, judgemental, pieces of crap get to decide what the government of this country is supposed to be accomplishing? :ar15:

My thoughts on 9/11 are this:
It's very unfortunate that for the families and friends of those who were lost that day. More unfortunate, in my opinion, is that GWB turned it into a facade for his Iraqi crusade, to finish what his dad started. He tried to use 9/11 as an excuse to find Bin Laden, which made many people (especially those who lost family or friends that day), happy to know that they would have both justice and closure. Instead, he couldn't give two shits about Bin Laden, and now those people were used as an excuse to start a war that we can't afford. I think it's bullshit, it's insulting to those who died that day, and it's just started a spiral effect of pissing off the whole world.
It also upsets me because Bin Laden was basically giving America a taste of what many countries experience all the time. It's ridiculous to expect the rest of the world to jump up and help us just because it all of a sudden happened to *gasp* America! No! It's all good when it happens in the Middle East, etc., but when it happens here, it's time to use our military muscle to do the same thing back to them, kill their innocent civilians, but in self-defense!!! Boy, we really stuck it to them, didn't we? Now the whole world hates us, we still haven't found Bin Laden, we have a nice big debt, and our gas prices are higher than ever... Way to go, GWB. You haven't let us down at all. I feel really good working my ass off every to pay taxes to fund all of this. I think it's awesome.

its been around 4 years now
plenty of time for millions of smarter people than me to sift through the "evidence"
after spending around 1 hours reading all about 9/11 (specifically flight 93) its clearer then ever that thers a whole fucking bunch of LEADERS that are keeping too much to themselves
does anyone remember anything from the news reports IMMEDIATLEY after it happened , before the governemtal PR machine got up and running?
for example: as flight 93 went down in pennsylvania the CNN (or whoever) feeds that we were getting in Australia reported the "crash" as " a fourth hijacked plane has been SHOT DOWN over pennsylvania"
anyone remember anything else that was reported and then never mentioned again?
as for GWB and his governent : its scarier than the cold war. he cant govern anything other than his, and his friends and family's bank accounts. he is a fucking disgusting example of human kind and his administration all belong in the lowest levels of dantes hell. its incredible how fucked up they are

Doubt it. I think Bush is definitely bought and paid for, and it's the guys he owes who are the ones who are conducting all this. Corporations do it all the time- put a cordial regular-looking, regular-acting guy, give him a bunch of moral crap to spew out at the soft-minded laymen in simpletonville, and let them put him in office so you can keep getting yourself rich even after you retire. Taking advantage of the system. Politics.
I don't think Bush is that bad a guy- personally. I still don't trust him at all, though.

March 13th, 2005, 11:11 PM
And I think 911 was a self-inflicted tragedy. Something we should be sorry for but not necessarily surprised at. No disrespect to the people who died and their families- not at all. If there's anyone who deserves to be pissed about this it's them. It's all politics and we'll probably never fully understand why it happened. I think a great dose of humility on our part is a good idea. A good re-examining of the way we're presenting ourselves. Instead of asking "why?" just to the terrorists, we should be asking "why?" to ourselves. If you change yourself, then by example you change the world.

I think 9/11 was a major and tragic event, but it was coming...remember internally (within the United States) not so long ago...with the Unabomber and not long before that, the Waco incident.
Now that we have an external enemy again...GW has taken it in stride and has gone over the overpass...I hate the fact that the second objectives and primary objectives of the War on Terrorism keeps on interchanging faster than the cars on the expressway, Bin Laden still hasn't been found and brought to justice, and that the U.S. military is used as an occupation force.
I don't mind the U.S. military to capture terrorists, but the primary objective must remain the primary objective and not selected as the political tide changes...

watch national geographics 'saddam's reign of terror' and you will be glad that we are over there mixing the shit up.
although I would much rather be spending efforts working on cleaning up our own internal security, but we would then be getting ridiculed for not helping other people out!
that is why i really just stay out of all this shit and worry only about myself and my families security, thus the gas mask and BOB (bug out bag), grab and run!

As horrible a person as Saddam was we've shot ourselves in the foot by removing him. Our own nation's security was in better shape before we removed him from power. He was never a threat to us. I repeat.....never. By toppling the Hussien run government we have emboldened Iran who actually is a threat to our security. Saddam was very successful at keeping Iran in check. They knew Saddam would lob missiles, conventional and non-conventional, at them at the drop of a hat if he felt like he was being backed into a corner. Without him to keep them in check and thanks to a combination of our awful foreign policies and Iran's trade agreements with Russia/China, Iran now is starting to have the courage to issue war with us by proxy. Sooner or later this is going to come to a head and we'll really see what a cluster-fuck our presence in the ME can turn into.

You should watch the season finale of Le Femme Nikita Season 2 on DVD. The ending of the show describes the situation in the Middle East perfectly.
