I bought a Belkin wireless router a little over a year ago.. and I have been very dissapointed. At first they didn't have bridges like other companies (linksys, d-link, etc) did.. but now they do. Now.. after about 6 months with my router it just stopped working. I called Belkin and they got me to do all kinds of stuff to test it, and none of it worked. They told me they would send me another router. 2 Weeks later I call back and say I haven't gotten it yet. They sey oops, and say they'll put the order out for overnight shipping. Then I call back 2 weeks after that (still haven't gotten it), and they say that no one told me they would send it overnight shipping, because they never do that. They also told me that my order had not even been shipped yet. They said they wait untill they have to ship a lot out before they ship any, and don't do any individually. I didn't get my router until a little over 2 MONTHS after my first call. Which is completely rediculous. Anyway, the reason I am posting this now.. is because now that router they sent me has gone out after about 6 more months, and I'm going to have to go through all this BS again. :plain: :bash: :sniper:

Oh one more thing........ they rip you off too. because most people know on the internet that if you order through their website and enter coupon code 1234 than you can get HALF off anything. But in the store they charge the full price.. so basicly they rip the average dumb consumer off. I didn't know about the coupon code before I ordered. So for my router and all my network cards it was $300

The signal covers 3 times more area, and the transfer rate is 8x's faster than regular wireless-G :pink:

With what I have now the only room downstairs thay my internet picks up well in is the room right below the room upstairs that has the router in it :shame:

I just setup some ladies wireless network in her condo using netgear stuff. Her card picked up 6 other networks (one of which wasn't secure) and was getting 70% signal strengh 3 floors to the router.
