Dark City

I saw this movie when it was in the theaters. Picked it up last weekend at Best Buy 'cause it was dirt cheap. Pretty good, strange film. What do you guys and gals think?

I saw it in theaters and detested it, but I can remember that I was going on about 2 hours of sleep... so that flick was particularly hard to take. I'll have to give it another try.

Well, its one of those movies that you dont really know what the hell is going on the first time you see it. Plus it has that odd visual style to it that takes some getting used to. Give it another shot.

Right now I'm going through the Back to the Future Trilogy! I just picked it up for $18. Part two was really bad... I had forgotten how bad it was. Part one is one of my all time favorites though. I'll try to pick up Dark City soon.

Awesome movie. Conelly is hot in it. I love the who look of it. All good.

Also , did you notice that Dark City , Requiem For A Dream and House of Sand and Fog all have the same exact shot of Conelly standing at the edge of a peir?

I'm actually going to watch Dark City tonight for the first time. My friend picked it up at Fry's yesterday. It was $5.99 there as well. :blink:

and i have dark city burned, but have never seen it...maybe someday when i'm bored.
