I think it could be awesome, but I've never seen any F13th movies before.

as long as Samuel L Jackson brings the "wrath of God...in His furious anger" upon Jason...it's all good... :what:

Yea , I never thought they were that great. It's cheesy and np brainer because that's what slashers are. Not QT tritory , but would be cool gore.

Rumours have been swirling for the past few weeks that Inglorious Bastards – Quentin Tarantino’s long-awaited pet project about a platoon of World War II soldiers trapped behind enemy lines – has been put on hold indefinitely. The reason? QT’s sudden desire to make a no-holds-barred horror flick – specifically, his own Friday The 13th movie. And for a man who’s supposed to have war on his mind, he sure looked chipper throughout the Empire Awards. So we picked our moment – just after the animated auteur had finished gabbing with Alan Rickman (complete with what looked suspiciously like a Hans Gruber impersonation) – and took him aside to find out exactly what’s going on.

“What’s happening with Friday The 13th? Nothing at all! It’s a complete lie. I like Jason and everything, but I’ve no intention of directing a movie! New Line talked to me about it, but it was a complete fabrication, that article. I would love to do a horror film. I’m just saying it’s not going to be Friday The 13th…”

Can’t put it much plainer than that. So with that one out the way, and Bond veteran Martin Campbell chosen ahead of Tarantino for the forthcoming official Casino Royale remake, it looks like Quentin’s options are narrowing fast. Is it too much to hope that we’ll be seeing QT’s Bastards at our local fleapit soon?

“My next film is probably going to be Inglorious Bastards, yeah. I’ve written scenes. I’ve written a lot of it but now I have to sit down and start putting it together in a script that I can start shooting. And that’s a different thing.”

You heard it here first. On the QT, etc, etc…
