I clicked on that thread and tried to sift through all the talk about it. I hate reading about parts of a movie that I havent seen. The preview for it was very vague, yet looked very interesting. Is this movie worth a rental? How would you rate it on a scale of 1-10? And what kinda movie is it? Like a murder mystery, mind fuck movie, etc. Any info on it without really giving anything away would be great. And was this movie ever in the theaters? Or was I under some kinda rock when this movie premiered?

It's one of my favorite movies, at least rent it. I would say it's about 9/10, and it's pretty much a mind fuck movie.

What I mean by the regular version is that they released the Directors Cut which makes things more clear. I usually find it best to watch the regualr version first.

It was released in theatres , but the studio didnt want to promote movies with plane crashes. Siletnly released onto DVD later and gianed steam , thus the DC.

ohh ok. They sell them seperately? Its not like Butterfly effect where you chose whether to watch the Theatrical version or the DC? Either way, thanks for the input :shades:

Nope. Sperate. Its more then just a different ending. About 20 more minutes , more of The Philosiphy Of Timetravel book , diff music in some parts , etc. I have it at home , but I have yet to watch it.

Time travel.......... if someone travels at light speed in the universe for a while, then comes back to earth the people on earth would have experienced longer time and be older than the person that spent the brief amount of time at the speed of light. So that person would have traveled forward in time. Right?!

Too bad we can't go the speed of light, and if we could we'd probably disintegrate or something. :what:

Pi = Darren Aronfskys(Requiem For A Dream) first movie. Black and white. About a crazy math genius that trys to find patterns in the stock market using Fibanoci and what not. Pretty good.
